Calculation methodology

Projected values are calculated using a conservative methodology based on the improvement potential relative to best-in-class industry performance. The simulation does not assume that best-in-class levels will be achieved, but instead estimates realistic progress based on the current situation and the improvement potential of each metric. The resulting benefits are indicative estimates and should not be considered guaranteed outcomes.

How does it work?
OTIF — Each percentage point of service level recovered represents on average 0.05% to 0.2% of revenue depending on the sector (lost sales, penalties, reputation).
Stocks — A 10-point improvement in Forecast Accuracy reduces safety stocks by 15 to 25% (statistical EOQ + safety stock model).
Coûts SC — According to APICS, best-in-class companies have an SC cost / revenue ratio of 5 to 8%, vs 10 to 15% for the industrial average.
